10.5 Miles, 20 People, One Tough Challenge: Campden Home Nursing Take on the Malvern Hills

What a day it was for the Campden Home Nursing team.

On Sunday 6 September, a team of 20 incredible people took on our challenging 10.5 mile end to end Malvern Hills Challenge, and they absolutely smashed it.

Starting at North Quarry Car Park, the team made their way along the entire Malvern Hills ridge, taking in all 15 peaks from Chase End Hill in the south to North Hill in the north. Along the way they tackled steep climbs, challenging descents and some seriously tough terrain, with a welcome lunch stop at Sally's Cafe to refuel before the final push. It wasn't easy, but with plenty of determination, teamwork and encouragement, they made it to the finish.

A huge congratulations to everyone who took part. You should all be incredibly proud of what you achieved.

Most importantly, the team weren't just taking on a personal challenge. They were doing it to raise vital funds for Campden Home Nursing, a charity that has been caring for the local community since 1990, providing nursing care for patients with life-limiting illnesses who wish to remain at home, along with bereavement counselling through Jecca's House in Chipping Campden. Every mile walked and every pound raised goes straight back into that work.

20 people. 10.5 miles. Over 26,000 steps. One fantastic achievement.

Well done, everyone.
