This relaxed three day paddling challenge journeys across three iconic UK lakes, offering a rewarding balance of distance, scenery and exploration. Designed to be completed at an enjoyable pace, it is ideal for those seeking an immersive outdoor experience rather than a race.

Route: 

  • Day One: Llyn Tegid Lake Bala Wales
    The challenge begins on Llyn Tegid, the largest natural lake in Wales. Covering approximately 7 miles, this opening day provides a gentle introduction, with calm waters and striking mountain views. It is well suited to paddlers of all abilities and allows time to settle into the journey.
  • Day Two: Windermere England
    Day two moves to Windermere, England’s largest lake. The 11 mile paddle follows long open stretches of water framed by woodland and rolling hills. Despite its popularity, quieter sections offer a peaceful and scenic experience, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the shoreline.
  • Day Three: Loch Awe Scotland
    The final and longest day takes place on Loch Awe, Scotland’s longest freshwater loch. This 24 mile paddle is the highlight of the challenge, passing remote landscapes, historic ruins and dramatic Highland scenery. The sense of scale and solitude makes for a memorable and satisfying finish
